The Lake Erie coastline in Northeast Ohio, Pennsylvania and Western New York is home to a diverse collection of rivers, known as Steelhead Alley. These spate streams are parched in the summer heat and reduced to trickles. However, the fall rains which swell these creeks herald the homecoming of Lake Erie's migratory rainbow trout - the steelhead. That's where we come in!

Our guide service targets steelhead in the tributaries of Northeast Ohio - an exciting and accessible fishery where steelhead are available on the fly from October to May. We have no closed season in Ohio so - barring iced rivers - we can chase steelhead any day you can stand to be out!

Fly fishing is a challenging and satisfying way to chase steelhead. The flyrod is a versatile tool, and gives us as anglers multiple fishing options. Our guide service makes use of both single and double-handed rods, and certain conditions even allow for dry-fly applications.
